Individual Counselling

Our individual therapy sessions provide a safe and confidential space for you to explore your thoughts and emotions. Our experienced counsellors are here to support you on your journey towards healing and personal growth.

Couples & Marriage Counselling

Our couples and marriage counselling sessions provide a supportive space for partners to strengthen their relationship and improve communication. Whether you’re facing conflict, navigating life changes, or simply wanting to reconnect, our counsellors help you explore patterns, rebuild trust, and deepen understanding. Together, you’ll work toward a healthier, more fulfilling relationship.

Parent & Caregiver Counselling

Supporting those caring for others, whether raising children or providing care for a sick, elderly, or dependent loved one. Our counsellors offer tools to strengthen coping and communication skills, manage stress, and foster healthy, balanced relationships within the family.

Child Counselling

Our child counselling sessions provide a warm and supportive space for children to express their thoughts and feelings through play, conversation, and creative activities. Our counsellors use age-appropriate approaches to help children develop healthy coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and address behavioural or social challenges. We aim to support their growth, confidence, and overall well-being.

Perinatal Counselling

Our perinatal counselling sessions provide compassionate support for individuals and couples during pregnancy, postpartum, and the early stages of parenthood. This time can bring joy as well as unexpected emotional, physical, and relational challenges. Our counsellors offer a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore experiences such as mood changes, anxiety, identity shifts, or adjustment to parenthood. We’re here to help you navigate this transition, strengthen coping strategies, and promote emotional well-being for you and your family.

Co-Parenting Counselling

Helping separated or divorced parents navigate shared parenting with cooperation and respect. Our counsellors provide strategies to improve communication, reduce conflict, and prioritize the well-being of children as families adjust to new routines and relationships.

Teen Counselling

Our teen counselling sessions offer a safe and understanding space for adolescents to explore their emotions, relationships, and life challenges. Our counsellors work collaboratively with teens to build self-awareness, resilience, and confidence while helping them manage stress, anxiety, and other emotional concerns. We’re here to support them as they navigate the ups and downs of adolescence and find their path forward.

Family Counselling

Our family counselling sessions aim to foster understanding, empathy, and effective communication within the family unit. We work with families to address conflicts, strengthen relationships, and cultivate a harmonious and supportive environment for all members.

LGBTQ+ Individuals, Couples & Families

Offering affirming and inclusive support for exploring identity, relationships, and life’s challenges. Our counsellors provide a safe space to navigate experiences unique to the LGBTQ+ community and to foster self-acceptance, resilience, and meaningful connections.

Therapy Types

Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)

ART is a trauma-focused therapeutic approach that uses a combination of techniques, including visualization, relaxation, and eye movements, to help individuals process and resolve past trauma or distressing memories quickly and effectively. The therapy focuses on reprogramming the emotional and physical responses to traumatic experiences, allowing individuals to experience relief in a short period of time.

 

ART helps clients reframe negative memories, alleviating symptoms of anxiety, PTSD, and other emotional difficulties. The goal of ART is to facilitate rapid healing by transforming how the brain stores and processes traumatic events, thereby promoting emotional resilience and a sense of empowerment. An initial 60-minute session is required to prepare for ART sessions, and then all follow-up sessions are 90 minutes. Offered by Karen Kaip.
